Our IQ software is integrated into nearly all our products, including ionisation bars, sensors, charging devices, and even ATEX-approved models, all of which are IQ-compatible. The IQ products can be interconnected through the Smart SLC or Manager IQ Easy, serving as the core of the system. Smart SLC – the Core of the IQ Easy Platform
Similar to the Manager IQ Easy, the Smart SLC manages all IQ-compatible ionisation and measurement devices. It lacks an embedded screen but can seamlessly integrate into your machine’s HMI. Configuration can be carried out locally via laptop or anywhere within the company network through a web-based, browser-independent interface—ideal for process operators and machine builders who prefer their own HMI setup.
Thanks to Ethernet connections, the Smart SLC offers faster speeds compared to the Manager IQ Easy 2.0. You can manage all connected devices in real time via your PLC through Fieldbus. The Smart SLC can also be linked to up to 13 additional SLC units, with each controlling up to 6 devices like bars and sensors, allowing for the simultaneous management of up to 84 devices. With versatile communication options—Fieldbus, external web-based interface, and I/O—you have the flexibility to choose whether to manage the system from your machine’s HMI, a laptop, or a PC.
Proactive Ionisation Control
The IQ Easy system’s Closed-Loop Feedback ensures optimal ionisation control. With ionisation bars and sensors connected, web voltage is actively regulated to maintain a low residual charge. For charging applications, a pre-set charge can be programmed into the Smart SLC, ensuring precise charge levels on the web.
Safety and Convenience
Both the Smart SLC and its connected devices have separate power inputs, meaning the user interface stays active while devices can be safely powered down for maintenance or other safety concerns.
